Happy 50th to my favorite team and stadium in all of the land!
I’m so honored to be going to the game today, especially since my Dad (who also grew up in Los Angeles) went to a game in 1962 it opened. I’ll be sure to do all I can to continue the tradition when Dodger Stadium turns 100 and have my son in attendance. (that is if Dodger Stadium is around that long, oh and I have to have a son first too)
So cheers to all baseball fans, Dodgers fans, and people who love celebrating anniversaries.

Tonight was a very big night in my life as a turntablist…tonight marked the very first time I performed a “DJ set” without ever touching a turntable. I have been using keyboards and midi controllers for years, however this was my very first head first plunge into full on controllerism.
The performance itself went very well (more of a test for myself to see how much I’ve learned since I got Traktor a few weeks ago, and there were a few bumps but overall very smooth, fun, and rewarding) the strangest part was that I didn’t feel bad about it.
As much as I’m into innovation and electronics, I’ve always been such a purist at heart, I even put off switching from vinyl to digital for years because I just felt wrong about it, however…moving forward I feel completely confident that is not only the future, but the present of what will allow true turntablists, producers, recording artists, as well as talented dj’s to maximize their ability and creativity.
I’m gonna post a new free song (at least) once a month, every month this year…either an original, remix, or mash-up from myself, Bang. Alter. or ShortShortS…
If the world’s gonna end anyway…might as well give it away…
